2013 EMAs: Miley Cyrus Lights Up With We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball

It wouldn't be a Miley Cyrus Performance without her notable tweaking. And we saw a glimpse of the sworn non-twerker, twerking at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam, November 10, 2013.

She rocked the red carpet in a 'Please Stop Violence' dress and Tom Ford boots. Accessorizing her frock with her iconic Vintage Chanel Rhinestone Choker with CC, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry's Large Gothic Letter necklace, and a single Delfina Delettrez Red Lips and Pearl Earring, and Tom Ford Black and White Checkered Thigh High Boots from Fall 2013.

If you look at the images of the Princess of Pop, there is a sparkle missing in her eyes and posture. Is a certain Miss M missing a flop of an actor? Don't worry M, just keep doing your thing. We appreciate you, even if he does not.

The galactic theme was definitely an out of world experience. I wasn't aware Europe had a thing for 80's Star Wars bars and space aliens. I would rather go on a road trip with the Kardashians to Area 51 then be subjected to people dancing while wearing yet another inanimate object. Miss Miley has so much talent performing live, but it is frequently overshadowed by theatrical onstage disasters.

I much prefer the simplicity of her EMA "Wrecking Ball" performance. A lot can be said for a 'less is more approach' to performing. As for her vocals at the EMAs, they were pitch perfect. Miley's "We Can't Stop" onstage outfit was akin to the silver MTV Moonman she enjoyed licking after the 2013 VMAs. To put it simply, it was strange. Her white leotard paired with Vintage Chanel Rhinestone Choker with CC and Vintage Chanel Large Gold Chain Belt with Swarovski Crystals, was a much more attractive look. Although, I did fear she might have a south of the border lip slip.

Miss Miley did accept an award for Best Video for "Wrecking Ball." Even though she could not fit her award in her Chanel Vintage Printed Jersey Bag she tried, and was rewarded with a hidden joint which she joyously lit up on stage. My best friend Lesley said, "Oh she's just being Miley."
