It looks like the Christian Louboutin (@louboutinworld) has redone his 'IT' shoe of 2012 and it is once again in high demand! The bis un bout is back for 2013! But in a multitude of python, water snake and other exotic colors and textures. As all Loubi lovers know, it was produced in 2012 in red suede, hot pink patent, black suede and bright yellow patent. Louboutin had them in an 85mm sling back, 100mm pump and 120mm pump. They were not only sold at CL boutiques, but sold at retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and an additional select few department stores. But even with the larger production in 2012, it was hard for people to get their hands on them! But ebayer's and reseller's alike could double their money selling the bis un bout- any color and any size. The black suede and yellow patent were last years killers. This shoe was and still is pure gold!
Kristen Stewart wore the lovely yellow patent Christian Louboutin Bis Un Bout Pumps to the Snow White and the Huntsman Mexican press conference. And the stunning Rihanna wore the black suede Bis Un Bout Pumps to the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
This year we Loubi overs aren't as fortunate. Louboutin used his keen business sense to keep the bis un bout at his online store and select Christian Louboutin Boutiques. However, it is devastating to those people in the United States that prefered the 100mm heel height. This 2013 they were only produced for the Horatio Boutique in New York. And a little birdy told me some sizes have been held up in customs for months! And others have not even been shipped yet! There are going to be some sad faces when that shoe doesn't arrive, due to custom issues. But pain is beauty, so wear those 120mm bis un bout in style-- if there are still any left!
The appeal of the 120mm are my personal preference in appearance, but walking around in that heel height day in and out, my feet would beg for uggs or a couple ice packs-- maybe both. But it was Mr. L who said "I would hate for someone to look at my shoe and say, 'Oh my God! That looks so comfortable'. So 100mm lovers, get some foot pads, go up a size and suck it up!
And to all those who are desperate for the lower heel height in the bis un bout, fly to another country and pray they have your size. I never take chances when it comes to couture, or the bis un bout. And all CL lovers know, the boutiques never ship exotics.
Looks like the 'C' word on the tip of your tongue this year is not Christian Louboutin, but Chanel--vintage or new. Christian Louboutin has been mass producing most of his items. You don't have to wait months for the beige daffodils, or lady dafs. Hell! He created the Lady Daf's sister, the Lady Highness and her mother the Highness. And believe me, you can walk into any Barneys, Saks, or Neiman's and not have to squeeze into a smaller size because there are so many!
Exclusivity is what makes people want items. Rare. Limited. These words must have slipped his mind, and have also fallen on sale racks at certain boutiques. And no, the solution is not to bedazzle your once 'IT' shoe with spikes. No one wants a spiked daffodil. Eww. Won't be long before Mr.L crashes and burns. Say no to the shoe below!

Now, Chanel has always had a classic appeal with a dash of edgy items in every collection. But this year Chanel vintage has come out of the woodwork. Our it girls are dripping in it! Rihanna wore multiple pieces for her Diamonds World Tour. Miley's new style incorporates at least one new or vintage Chanel piece daily. Her go to necklace is this vintage Chanel rhinestone choker with a rhinestone charm.

And the Chanel Boy Bags from Cruise 2013 Versailles Collection have been a huge hit this year! There was no stark simplicity in this collection, only an attention to detail that screamed Marie Antoinette. Gold leather, gold hardware and ornate gold ornamentation adorned most bags. Woven leather, exotic skins, gold hardware and fleur-de-lis embellishments transformed the boy bag from a bag you usually would not give any thought to because of its modern simplicity to a must have unique piece.
Many of these bags were produced in limited quantities and some were only available through Chanel boutiques in department stores. Needles to say these bags are rare and exude a love of timeless luxury. Anyone who was lucky enough to obtain one of these exquisite pieces will surely make a statement and receive many compliments. One of my favorites was the Chanel Boy Rock Bag in White and Gold ( as seen on @kourtneykardashian as well).

As always there are beautiful classic and traditional all black ensembles that are usually sported during the colder months. But it is nice to see pops of color as integral parts of a collection's fall line. Fiery orange, deep fuchsia, and ruby reds mixed with mercurial gray and accented with a cool and calming hues of blue complete the regal yet casual vibe of this collection.
Miroslava Duma is the Russian 'IT' girl. And her shoe of choice is the Christian Louboutin Super Dombasle! She can dress down these 6.3 inch wedge sandal with a mini dress and even pairs them with with tights and formal attire.
Every fashionista needs to own a pair of these! The cost is worth the comfort!
